After a two week blog absence, I return with good news. I've sewn something! Not only just sewn something, but completed something.

This jacket is custom made for a fellow collector who will use it for a doll based on Lyra from Golden Compass. I'm so excited to have finished a project finally, and one that is one of my best works, in my opinion.
The fabric is a smooth polyester suede, trimmed with acrylic/polyester shirt pile fur, lined in cotton flannel, and has leather lacing loops and buttons.

In other Gomunk Creations news, I received my inventory back from my grandmother. Unfortunately nothing sold, but that's okay. I've relisted everything in my store again, and there are still some items I need to make listings for.
I won't be able to get back to my sewing desk until at least Wednesday, and I'm hoping this sewing bug I've got will last more than these past two days.

Until next time...

Great job, Jeni!! You really need to think about sewing some people sized things too! I would die for a coat like that!!
